I am unable to turn on my Wi-Fi on my Samsung S4. When I go into the settings menu and "flip the switch" over to On it flips right back to off. I have configured the settings all different ways...Nothing. I have restarted the phone...Nothing. I am getting very frustrated because I am sitting in my house where I have Wi-Fi and using my data plan! My computer and tablet connect no problem. I have no idea what to do next. Any ideas?

Have you downloaded an app to control your wi-fi (like Wi-Fi Matic)? If you have try to disable that app (or uninstall it), then try to connect to your home Wi-Fi (you can re-download the app after you connect if you wish). Some of the apps that control the wi-fi on your phone will automatically shut off the wi-fi on your phone whenever you are not near a "remembered" wi-fi location. The down side to this is that you have to connect to the wi-fi location first and then enable the app so that it can remember the location.

Hello Ironbull33,
I'm sad to hear about the trouble you're experiencing with your S4. We definitely want to help you connect to WiFi again! I'm glad you were able to try powering the device off and back on.
Are any other devices in the house able to connect to WiFi properly? If not, please try resetting your wireless router. If WiFi is okay, please try placing your phone into Safe Mode using these steps: http://vz.to/1cRRgmA . Once in Safe Mode, try connecting to WiFi again.
Keep us posted on the results so we can continue to find a resolution for you!
