Hey guys, I just got my galaxy s4 a couple of days ago and I am just encountering a new problem. When I try to download an app from the play store it takes FOREVER to download it, I'm talking 10kb/s. Does anyone know of this problem and a solution for it? Thanks a ton!

I don't think there is a solution. I have a 3g phone on verizon's network through straight talk and for some reason the past few days or longer I've noticed 3g going to 1x signal a lot. I think the data towers are overtaxed hereby lowering speed. I have been running the speedtest.net app on occasion to see what actual speeds I get and it's sad. Very sad.
For 3g I should be getting more than 1Mbps and less than 2Mbps apparently. I'm getting between .07Mbps and 1.4Mbps but generally between .4 and .7Mbps.

Good morning tony12345,
Let's speed things up for you! Your Galaxy S4 is capable of much faster downloading speeds. Ensure that LTE/CDMA is selected http://vz.to/18J32hS and make sure to disable WiFi. Also confirm your coverage signal http://bit.ly/qQR9lM as low speeds are normal for areas with extended coverage.
