This was one of the issues I wrote about yesterday. My S7 edge was doing fine so I didn't update because of the many issues other carrier users were having. Broken Bluetooth and WiFi as well as crashing apps. I know factory resets suck but it can also help device performance. It's also recommended before you update software to do a reset. I would just do the reset and just make sure you do a backup instead. Will be less time than trying to find a fix that probably isn't available.

I have the same issue with both s7 and an s7 edge updated last night. I just got off support with Verizon and Samsung. The only solution is a factory reset. HUGE FAIL!

A factory reset fixed it. I tries all of the tricks...clearing cache, network reset, safe mode. Only thing that worked was the dreaded factory reset.
After a few hours of tweaking (I use a LOT of widgets.), I FINALLY have my phone setup like I did before the reset.

Maybe see if any of these work for those that updated.

JeffACastro, let's troubleshoot your device so we can resolve this issue. Please go to Settings>Backup and reset>Reset network settings. Once you have done this, re-test your Wi-Fi connection.

I made it through steps 1 through 5 on this list. While in safe mode, I tried to connect and the problem still existed. However, after booting back normally my WIFI worked. I didn't have to go to step 6 and factory reset. Maybe some of those out there should try the safe mode route a couple times if they don't want to do the factory reset. It has a chance of working since it did for me.

Updates are meant to improve the function of your phone, not cause you headaches BJ2314. Let's get to the bottom of this. I know how important it is to connect to Wi-Fi.
What happens when you try connecting to Wi-Fi? Are you having the same issues with all Wi-Fi?

I had to do a factory reset. All other resets were ineffective. Full factory reset corrected the wifi and bluetooth issues.

Had VZW done their homework on Nougat before broadcasting it to S7 users, the widespread wifi problems could have been avoided. Now the choices are do a factory reset to fix it, or as I am doing, wait to do the upgrade until VZW sends a fix for the wifi problem. It seems this happens all too often with major system updates like this.
