Galaxy s4 update problem

I have been getting update messages on my phone. I upload the update ok but get an error when it goes to install.

I went to kies and it says that I  have no updates needed.

I down loaded the update software from Verizon and it says there are no updates.

My phone says I am at version 4.2.2.

I took my phone to the Verizon store and they did not have a clue and told me to reboot back to factory settings.

I did that and I am back to the same problem.

I get this message to update all the time and it is driving me crazy.

WHAT CAN I DO?

The best thing you could do for yourself if to read through this S4 forum and see all the problems that people are having with their phones after installing the 4.3 update. You are lucky it didn't install.  After you read throught this forum then make a decision to update or not.  My guess it will be not.  As for the notifications I just been clicking them off by using the back button.  Better off with a well working phone on 4.2.2 then a nightmare on 4.3.

Thanks for commenting. From what I have read, I agree, but there has got to be something Verizon can do to stop the updates from coming if we do not wish to use it. Let me know if anybody has figured this out.
