Email Question, similar to BlackBerry

Hello, I am a recent S3 user from the BlackBerry world. I have searched the internet and even visited my local Verizon store and cannot get the help/answers I need.

I am curious to know if there is a way to set up my email from my own website onto the S3, where it will give me the option that is similar to BlackBerry where you can "Delete from Handheld" but keep the message in your Inbox online? I have tried setting up the S3 in both IMAP and POP3. I can send and recieve but if I Delete from handheld it also deletes from Inbox.

Are you using the default email app? If so, what do you see when you go to into the app, and then click the MENU button and choose SETTINGS and then choose the email account you setup, and then look at INCOMING SETTINGS , do you see an option that says DELETE EMIL FROM SERVER ? It is there that you can choose delete it or never.
