Is there a way to have Verizon unlock my G3 mini that is not activated any longer? It is my old phone and my granddaughter needs it.

Being able to exchange phones with family is convenient. I understand wanting to allow your grand daughter to use the phone since you no longer are.
The good news is our 4G devices are not locked, but we cannot guarantee service on other networks. You can read more information about our Unlock policy here: http://vz.to/2lJyxox.
I recommend you or your grand-daughter reach out to the carrier she is trying to use the phone on to see if it will work on their network. Please keep us posted.
