Best Buy Upgrade

Best Buy has a great deal on S10 and when I go to check out in the fine print it states:

Those customers Upgrading with a 2-Yr contract who have an Unlimited Data package will be enrolled in the Verizon 2GB Data Plan for that line for $30/month. If you complete this transaction, Unlimited Data cannot be returned to your line of service.

To confirm, will I be losing my unlimited data, and not able to get it back if I buy a verizon phone through them?

It's hard to say since Best Buy could be using incorrect verbage. Verizon doesn't really do contracts any more for phones, but agreement instead which aren't tied to service terms.

At any rate, if you have the old Nationwide unlimited, it's not recommend to do financing since the default data package is 2GB. Sounds like that is what they are referring to.

Amazon had the 128gb s10 unlocked for $640 with ear buds and a $50 gift card. Hope you figured something out. Jumped on that deal as this best buy berbage was to concerning. Also, no activation fee on using the same sim card with unlocked phone. Yay.
