Samsung Galaxy S6: Verizon, AT&T remove Microsoft apps | BGR

I was curious about which features would be removed from the galaxy s6/ s6 edge on Verizon; Verizon has been known to remove features! (Which might have influenced a consumer's decision to buy it in the first place). Anyway, I saw the article above today, and thought it might be helpful for anyone that hasnt bought an S6 yet. I feel that if Verizon removes apps and/or features it should also be a standard of practice to share what has they've disabled or removed.

Verizon S6 & S6 Edges do not come with:

  • Smart Manager
  • One drive (& 100 GB free storage)
  • Skype, One Note, & Office Mobile preloaded

100 GB of extra One Drive storage was one of the selling points for getting my S6 edge. and to be 'cheated' out of it. Kinda stinks

Please be advised--- Apparently Verizon has also disabled Samsung's stock browser. Subsequently this has also removed the feature for fingerprint sign-in...
