I got my update yesterday and I noticed something odd in the Advanced selection of Wi-Fi.  If you scroll to the bottom you will see Auto connect.  The odd thing about this setting is that it says "Automatically connect to AT&T hotspot when detected".  Why would Verizon put this setting in?

I noticed that too when I was trying to turn off the WiFi connected notification (which I can't figure out how to disable). I thought it was weird and decided to turn it off.

maybe their engineer don't know how to do a proper update and just took a AT&T firmware and push it on our devices?

On another note, I bit and got 3 authentic batteries direct from Samsung.com.  I got 3 to get free shipping.  Anyone interested in taking one off my hands at cost plus shipping?  I paid $56.14 for 3 including tax so I'm thinking $19 plus either first class shipping or priority depending how you want it shipped. I didn't want to get it from Amazon risking getting those fakes.

Ya, everytime I see OEM on Amazon I question if it's genuine.

That's why I ordered a replacement directly from Verizon. It was $29.99 before my company's discount.

Samsung just emailed me telling me they are out of stock.  I guess I still have to go with the Amazon route.

Get the Anker battery. I think it has NFC and its supposed to be a good product. The $13 "OEM" one is fake.

I have had the Anker ones with the charger for a few months. They are every bit as good as the stock one.

I too am confused by the AT&T thing in the Wifi Settings...

Who hoo, found my first 5.1.1 bug today... so minor I don't even care and am not going to bother reporting it.

I use the S View jacket,  and I was looking at the clock and noticed it was exactly 50 minutes behind.   I opened the cover and it immediately jumped to the correct time.    Minor,  I can live with that for now.

So, today I have had heavy use and in 8 hours I still have 66% left.    Much improvement from a battery  perspective.

Hmm. I haven't experienced any improvement, but at least a factory reset and new battery are viable options again. There's a weird bug that you may be able to reproduce: on the lock screen, let about 5 notifications to come up, then swipe down. Swipe down again and the notification bar will start coming down, with the settings and shortcuts office, but a black space below that. It only happens sometimes, but it's kind of weird. Including that, the bugs are minor, like the WiFi one, the vibration one, and the strange ATT hotspot thing. Overall, huge improvement. And the reps said it was our usage habits........
