Write to pdf

Hi,

I'm a new Note 5 owner, one of the main features that attracted me to the phone was the write to pdf feature.

Does anyone know who to use it?  I'm at my wits end.  My friends note 5 has it so I'm thinking I'm doing something wrong here.

I've looked through the user manual and even the samsung site.  They just show a demo.

Do I have a defective phone?

You're not alone, I have the same problem. Is your friend has Verizon for carrier?

Click on the .pdf you want to edit, you will be prompted as to what application to open it with.  Choose Write on PDF and then it will open the .pdf and allow you to write on the pdf and save it.

If you are clicking on a .pdf and it is opening into some other application then you may need to reset the app settings so that you will be prompted again to choose which application to open it in.   To do this you can go to Settings/Applications/Application Manager then choose More in the upper right hand corner then select Reset app preferences.  The next time you try to open the .pdf, you should then see the prompt for Write on PDF.

Verizon removed the Samsung built-in write on pdf app in favor of hancom. If you open the pdf with hancom it has a free draw option which allows you to write on pdf, then move it to the location where you need it.

I just found out that Verizon removed the app and gave us the hancom viewer instead?  Why remove something that is heavily advertized for a silly pdf viewer?

I guess you gotta put up with this if you want a better network.

I do wish they would stop tampering with phones and features, I can't see any reason why they would do this.

Oh well.

Hi guys, in case anyone who was "blessed" with the hancom pdf viewer by verizon, Samsung has made the write to pdf app available via the app store.  I just used it and it works great!
