which lower model?
Referring to the fact that they are offing the s7 or the s7 edge if people don't want a note anymore.
This beating of a dead horse is just..... IDK. Samsung just made it officially official what was going on, on a holiday weekend here in the states, and people want answers the days prior. It's unreasonable. Not only that but refunds and new devices are being offered, but it's like that commercial with the little girl saying "we want more, we want more".
Next, carriers have been at war with each other always, so why is unreasonable to see that of COURSE they are gonna have different plans of attack?! That's just common sense.
And the whole "my child could be in danger if using the phone and it catches fire, explodes, etc". Well guess what, if your kid touches a hot pot will you blame the pot maker or the gas company? If they trip and break a bone, you gonna blame the sidewalk, the concrete maker or Nike? If they grab scissors and stick them in an outlet, who you blame then? Just stop.
I second pherson reply.
I'm a little confused on the process or steps of protocol verizon is taking. I've heard frm other note 7 ownrs on different wireless carriers getting emails or texts informing them personally of their options during the note 7 battery gate. I just need to know when exactly the available note 7 new replacement units will arrive @ the Verizon tore and will they be contacting their customers who preordered or do we hve to consistently check with them. Also, I heard like you about new units being available as early as next week no later than two frm other various tech sites/blogs. I would love to receive valid confirmation from someone @ Verizon.
I was told that I needed to return my device and choose a different device. I asked if I could keep the phone until they received replacements and was told they didn't know if it when they would be receiving them.
I wrote to Samsung and received a response from them this morning. I was informed that the devices would be available next week for an exchange or I could exchange my current device for an edge 7. I was also told that if my phone was functioning correctly it would be ok to continue using the device (mine is fine).
I called Verizon Wireless again after receiving the email from Samsung and asked if they would be sending sending me a new device is should I turn it in to the corporate store for an exchange next week.
I got an highly informed representative from Verizon Wireless when I told them I had contacted Samsung... Not only that but I also provided Samsung with the offer Verizon had extended to (Verizon customers)... Which is nothing.... Samsung was giving $25 dollars as an apology type gift...
It's as early as next week. Doesn't mean they'll have enough for everyone and everywhere.
