Samsung Galaxy Note 2 on Verizon?

I couldn't remember exactly how much Verizon's off contract price was it's been so many years ago since I ordered mine. I was thinking it was $699 though. I guess I could go check but feeling a bit lazy now. Screw it... I'm going to bed so I can wake up in the morning to an inbox full of tracking info. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hate insomnia! Causes me to spend all night looking at stuff like the following from an article on www.product-reviews.net:

5 million GN2 units in only two months and still awaiting the VZ release.... WOW! I especially loved the line about putting the Droid DNA on the back burner.

The note 2 is out already in the Verizon store in NY. But do you guys think US will get the 32gb one?

Not for a while. Just look at all the other carriers outside the US. Only in Korea they have the larger sizes. They have the 32 and 64GB sizes. Ironically they don't have the 16GB size.

since everyone else including Jay is in on the rumor mill I'm getting in on it too, here's what I just read on another forum about waiting and buying the N2 at the stores instead or pre-order.

" A couple of the Verizon reps have said that the store release might be pushed back because of high sales during preorder. I'd hate to believe that, but I don't wanna miss out, so I'm heading to my local store this morning for preorder"

I almost ordered a phone through Sam's Club a few weeks ago.  Long story short, going from iPhone back to Android, was going to hold out on spending $300 on an android because I wasn't sure of the OS. I don't know if WalMart is the same, but after 45 minutes on the phone, I cancelled the order all together.  Sam's wanted me to buy this, then add on this, and then this is free for 14 days and after that, it will be $10 a month.  Forget it, cancel it.  If they want to get in bed with every aftermarket tech company, then I don't want their phone.  I will spend the money on what I originally wanted and take the chance.

Also, by ordering the GN2 directly through Verizon, because my husband took my last upgrade and I am using his, I am not losing my unlimited data this time around.  Sam's had me doing to the tiered data package.  I am not saying Verizon is perfect, but placing the order for the GN2 was one of the most experiences I've ever had with Verizon.

Just a head's up, if you are buying from Sam's/WalMart, make sure they know what they are doing and don't take all the add on crap.

And ending this post, I am very impatient for this phone to arrive.  I am checking the Verizon site constantly, only to find no change in status yet.  This week is going to drag.

Like everyone else just waiting on the phone. We all know the Reps have no idea whats going on. Here's to hoping they find a way to ship out today so we can get our phones on Wednesday. Please let us know if anyone's order status changes.

If I recall.... YOU are the one who started the "He said they will have inventory tomorrow and and concluded that they will ship tomorrow"... Go back a few pages to review your own post. AFAIK if you do not pay full price for the phone you will loose your unlimited plan. Period.
