Note 10 Plus killing Google Play Music when display turns off

I have tried everything from the App itself to device care battery settings sleeping apps  nothing seems to stop this issue. When the screen times out Note 10 is turning off APPs you can hear it clicking away various others as well in the background.

Update.. its not the display timeout but related to the Lock Screen settings. So Lock Screen / Secure Lock Settings/ Lock Automatically.  Kills Podcast addict as well.

Happens at 3 minutes after screen times out everytime
