No one seems to be answering the #1 question Note 7 customers have; since we are being forced to DOWNGRADE to a lesser phone, will our upgrade eligibility at the time we purchased the Note 7 be reinstated or will it reset and we'll have to wait another year until we are eligible for an upgrade? We want to know that we will be able to UPGRADE as soon as a new Note device is made available for purchase without having to first pay off 50% of a device NONE of us want!! Can someone @ Verizon please answer that and maybe put the answer in the FAQs of the Note 7 recall to put your customers at ease?

If you don't like the selection of phones now, return your Note 7 for refund.  Borrow or buy a temporary used phone until the phone you want comes out.  This keeps your upgrade eligibility intact.  There are sites such as glyde, gazelle, or and swapping that are reliable and stand by purchases.  You can sell it back too when you are done.  Another option is refurbished phone from a place like Best Buy. Verizon has some too.
