Can an Unlocked T Mobile Note 5 be Used on VW Network

I cannot afford a new phone, even with all the deals happening. My friend has a Note 5 that they can sell me but it would be from the T-Mobile network. If it's unlocked by the provider will it work on the VW network?

Nope. It isn't compatible. Galaxy Note5 32GB (T-Mobile) Phones - SM-N920TZKATMB | Samsung US
