5.1.1 update..

I saw some reporting last week that verizon is now pushing the 5.1.1 update to the note 4.

Were those just rumors or is it fact?  It puts a bad taste in my mouth to have bought what was supposed to be a high end device, and to have been left to jump through hoops to use it because of crappie software build. How long has 5.1.1 been in circulation?  Other user have reported that it did fix most of the bugs.  Seems like verizon have their support priority somewhat backwards. Very dissatisfied with this company.

I believe that report was an error since it was only on that one site and nowhere else.  Once it is rolled out you will see many postings in the forums about it.  After the Galaxy S5 Android update to 5 had so many problems I would guess that Verizon is taking extra time to fully test it before rolling it out on any devices.

"Enjoy a more colorful and fresh new look and feel. Lollipop brings in more fluid animations along with improved apps and personalization options like colors, widgets and themes"

Can we really change the colors? Not a fan of this new colorful theme LP offers.

No, you cannot change colors unless you use a 3rd party launcher like Nova, Apex, or GO.  Changing colors is dependent on the app itself as well.  Stock apps cannot be altered.  Backgrounds can, colors no.
