I'm currently working on a hobby project where I'll need to track the GPS location of a phone on a computer via the internet. I don't need a full contract as I won't be using it for more than a month or two, so I was looking at getting a prepaid phone. From what I can tell, Family Locator should work fine to do the tracking, but my question is, can I get Family Locator on a prepaid phone? I think the only prepaid phone that would handle it would be the Samsung Intensity.
Then I would pay $.99 per day that I use it, plus $9.99 a month for the months that it's active. Is this feasible with the prepaid plan? Thanks.
Family Locator can only be offered on Family SharePlan calling plans and unfortunately there is not a Family SharePlan for Prepaid.
