Can I switch my account to a SIM card phone from a SIM-less phone?

I have an iPhone 4 and it does not take a SIM card. I plan on getting a new phone that will require a SIM card.

Can I switch my account over to that SIM card phone?

How much would the transfer cost, if any?

How much are SIM cards, if you don't mind answering?

No cost other than to change the plan to a higher cost that accommodates data.

How much are SIM cards, if you don't mind answering?

They come with the phone you buy or if you get a used phone you get a free SIM from a corporate store.
