Other day I was getting help on a different issue and the very helpful tech suggested I get a new SIM card which he stated started with a 5 or 6 I.e new update sim card which is on it's way to me. I'm guessing that this is for 5g my phone is 4g so if I'm correct and new sum card apply to 5g service will it work in a 4g phone? Will there be a problem or will I be ok anybody know or can provide more information is the 5g sim card starts with 5 or 6 guess that apply to sim card number where think mine has bunch of 1 at start not real sure how this works as 5g begins to take place
You would just need to get a SIM Card for the device, and the device should activate. Make sure that you get a 4G SIM Card.
I got the new sim card yesterday booklet says 4g so seems good the way rep was talking with this 5 or 6 had me thinking could be 5g sim anyway I put the Sim card in did it's activate thing Wait few minutes got a Sim card icon top left with a question mark in it along with no service thought what's happening now turn on mobile data setting plan was to run the health check get s sign in screen two options one new user second existing user thought ok want me to sign in no problem I sign in takes me to another screen want me to choose a plan while showing mine could not get any further so end up putting other sim card in and working normal been told all sim cards same
