thumbprint on Galaxy 6

My thumbprint almost never works and I constantly have to enter the backup password. How do I start over?

Help has arrived.  I'm sorry to hear you're having an inconveneince when attempting to use the thumbprint option.  If you want to cancel that security feature you can do so by going to your phone settings.  You will select Lock Screen and Security and chose fingerprint to cancel that option.
