Will I lose my $25 discount if I buy from Apple?

We are currently not under contract and get a $25 discount per line for not upgrading phones. My 4S may need replacing and I wondered if I bought the phone from Apple, would I lose my discount with Verizon even though it's not and upgrade thru VZ??

Your discount should remain intact, as the discount is due to no longer having to pay off the phones. By purchasing a new phone from Apple, you'll be considered a "Bring your Own Device" customer. This may result in additional discounts, it may not.

Check with Verizon Billing to confirm based upon your current plan.
