Yeah, she didn't understand you.  Anyway, you don't upgrade a month early.  Kinda cuts that 2 year contract down to 23 months.  Not the 24 months you agreed to right?  Early Edge is all that you could do seeing as how you had not completed your contract term.  You don't get a discount to renew a contract.  You get a heavily subsidized phone.  You might be eligible for an employer discount, but that would be all.  You don't get a discount on a plan just for signing another 2 year contract.  So yeah, if I don't get a discount, and everybody else doesn't get a discount, you don't either.  They offer a plan at a price, take it or leave it.  This isn't cross-country treaties and negotiations.  It's a wireless plan.
