Why is my billing date changing?

I don't want to change my current billing date. Why are long time customers like me not able to choose their billing dates like some other large companies like credit card companies allow Their customers to do? If I am not happy with your new billing policy, will you be happy if I cancel my plan and go to a competitor?

Your "billing date" is not changing. Your bill "due date" may be changing.

If you want to keep your bill "due date" the same, you can call in to CS and ask them to change your "billing date" to 3 days later so that your bill "due date" would stay the same date you are used to having.

BHBSB, we certainly appreciate you and your business. We never want to see you go. Verizon is reducing the number of days between the end of your bill cycle and when your payment is due. Your payment will be due 3 days earlier than it is today. Our new payment dates will be consistent with what others in the industry do today.
