What time does my upgraded plan take effect?

May I make calls under my upgraded plan to the US from Canada? Do I need to be in Wifi to make the calls. What time does upgraded plan start on July 5?

If July 5th is your billing cycle date, it starts at midnight.

No, I can't check your billing cycle date. I'm just another customer like yourself and I don't have access to anyone's account except my own. You can find your billing cycle date on your bill either the paper one or the electronic copy on your MyVerizon account online.
