I tried to make an online payment by using my checking account but accidentally got one number wrong when typing the account number. Now Verizon has blocked me for 6 months from paying my bill online or by mobile phone. On top of that, they want me to pay an extra $25 for insufficient funds because of the account number being wrong. I explained it to a customer service representative who said she would put in a request for them to review it and reverse the decision to ban me from making online or mobile payments. They must have denied the request because it's been 2 weeks and I still am banned from making payments that way. She said if they reversed it, I would be able to make them again in no more than a week. If this is how Verizon is going to treat me for making an honest mistake, I'm going back to AT&T.
