Unable to Activate a New Device

I have been unable to activate a new phone for all of today through My Verizon. The error message is:

"There was an error with one of our systems and we're working on it now. Lamentamos los inconvenientes. Please try again in a few minutes."

I'm also unable to reach anybody through the phone system and Live Chat is unavailable. Not sure where else to check besides having to drive to the store. Just trying to activate a device.

What was the old phone and what is the new phone?
