How do I get my Messanger+ keyboard with Voice to Text back?

I just updated to Marshmallow (by accident - I know better than to upgrade as soon as they come out). When I did it replaced the microphone icon with that of a setup gear. Now I can no longer dictate my text messages.

Can someone please help?! This is NOT an upgrade from what I had. I had things just the way I wanted them.

Long-press the gear until you see the pop-up that allows you to toggle the mic, clipboard, emoji, and Settings.
