How do I contact Verizon if I lost my SIM card while overseas?

Miembro

Does anyone know how to reach Verizon Wireless when you're overseas and lost your SIM card? I have been trying to reach them thru their website auto form for more than a week with no response except to please call them, which I cannot do since I have no SIM card!!!!! This has been ruining my trip and super frustrating. I'm on a borrowed computer now for a few minutes and their live chat isn't even available.  Smiley Sad

Evering,

Oh let's get you back in business so you can enjoy the rest of your trip. I am sorry to hear you have not been able to get in contact with us due to a lost SIM card. If you are able to use a hotel phone or prepaid phone you can reach our Global Support team by clicking on the link for calling card instructions: http://vz.to/17KseUf. You can also have an account manager call in for you and place an order for your SIM card. If you don't have an account manager on your account currently you can add one via My Verizon. Here is how: http://vz.to/1eLiJUa

Hi, I have been working at the Olympics in Sochi and dealing with this issue for 13 days now with no assistance from Verizon. I live in a hostel-type building. I  have no access to any kind of phone and limited Internet access on my cell phone using a Russian SIM card. None of your options work in my circumstance, which I've reported previously. I can only communicate thru email or by phone IF you call me. The three times I contacted Verizon thru auto form and discussion board online were thanks to a stranger letting me use their laptop. - Kimberly

Hello again, Kimberly! It's gotta be so wonderful to be on hand for such an historic event, if only you had service to share your experience. I can see that the local SIM you've obtained hasn't helped you to get service. I wish there was something we could do to help, but we're not able to call you at an international location. The link that Karen provided you contains a number that you can dial to reach our Global Support team. The number is toll free from most international locations, so you can literally dial it using any working phone at no charge. Good luck and thanks again!
