Why is my phone using data for email even when connected to WiFi?  Actually it won't even refresh if I have data turned off.  It's eating up my data!!!!

If your wifi is on and connected, but you don't have an active Internet connection, this could be the cause as the phone might be reverting to Mobile Data.  Make sure you have an Internet connection via wifi and turn off Mobile Data.  What phone are you using?
