One phone on my account has an upgrade date that seems too far in the future. This is an iPhone 4s, and Verizon is saying it is not upgradable until late 2016. It was replaced once by Asurion after a broken screen, and this accident occurred in 2014. But that shouldn't have had the effect of extending the upgrade date. Is there a way I can get Verizon to put this into research?
Did you by chance took an discount or promotional plan? If you did often these will extend your contract 1 year.
Also are you sure someone on your other lines(if you have any) is the account manager and used the upgrade without your knowledge?
The account was entirely reorganized in the late summer of 2014 and, in consideration of what you are suggesting, could well be that something happened that went unexplained by the agent.
Hello Latitude42! My apologies for the trouble you're having regarding your upgrade date. If you dial #UPG (send) into your wireless phone, you can check your upgrade date. Did you have any other phones that recently upgraded, which may have borrowed the upgrade, as an alternative upgrade? What was the date of your last upgrade? Thanks in advance!

There has been no borrowing of upgrades from one phone to another, but far in the past, not recently enough to push out the upgrade date on [removed] so far in the future.
I went to the VZW store in Mansfield, MA yesterday. A clerk there researched it to the extent of his ability to do so inside the store. He said he felt it happened during a change of billing plan in August 2014, but he saw no legitimate reason it would push-out the upgrade date. Indeed, my own phone [removed] was part of the same billing changeover and the push-out did not happen. He said that he viewed it as mistake but it was not within his power to change it.
