Can I activate a device on my account using a SIM card?

Hi I have dropped my phone in the pool today and it is currently in rice. I am hoping it is going to be okay, but if not my sister has a phone that is a Verizon phone with a clean ESN. Am i able to activate that one on my account using my sim card if my phone is ruined.

Yes, as long as it is the right sized SIM card, you can just put your SIM in the new phone and it will be active on your account.

I'd like to add to Weth's comment. If you need a different SIM card, you may obtain one at no charge from any Verizon Wireless corporate store. I hope everything turns out all right with your phone.
