I have noticed that when I receive a call from another Verizon caller who is using a 3rd party calling app to make their call, that call will not show in my monthly billing detail. Can anyone confirm and explain this? Gracias.

Having access to your call details is vital. I depend on this information myself. I will be happy to help. When a call is registered on our network, it's logged in your monthly call details. If an application is preventing this log, we do not have a way of confirming this. Our resources do not have a way of verifying any restrictions with third party applications.

Are you also receiving this call on a 3rd party calling app? For calls to show up in your billing detail, the call must go over the traditional phone/cellular lines. Skype, for instance does not use traditional phone/cellular lines for Skype to Skype calls, but a data connection instead. Facetime would be another example.

That's the thing. I'm receiving the call using my native Verizon phone line. I am thinking that maybe the system is confused because I'm getting a call from a VZW number but it is not being sent on the VZW system. So it should be mobile to mobile, except for.......
