My Moto Z2 Force has begun to shut itself down. I see that many others have had this problem. I have followed all instructions, and nothing has worked. No new apps were installed just before it began. No updates were installed just before it began. Of course it started 54 weeks into my plan, so the phone is out of warranty.
This is now a KNOWN ISSUES with this phone. What can you do to make it right, Verizon? If this were an automobile, they'd issue a recall and fix or replace the vehicle.
