My camera works off and on. Have googled possible solutions and have tried everything but it still comes in with purple striations

I have googled any solutions to this problem and it still works when it wants.  I get purple striations when it doesn't work.  Any suggestions?  have powered off and on, powered off and on in safemode,, cleaned the camera cache,  forced stop on camera......nothing works
