How do I adjust the earpiece volume?

How do I adjust the earpiece volume on my LG3 phone?  All I can find online is info on how to adjust the Master Volume that regulates how loud the ring tone is.  I need to adjust the volume of the earpiece b/c I can't hear the people on the other end.

Hi Jandel63,

We want all your calls to be loud and clear. The volume for voice calls can be adjusted only when you are on a voice call. To turn up the volume, first make a call. After the call is answered, press the Volume up key until the preferred volume is reached.
