How can I fix LG K8V freezing?

My LG K8 V freezes occasionally....it unfreezes when I plug in the charger.  But when no charger is available, how do I unfreeze it?

View this info if your device is unresponsive, frozen or won't power on or off.

NoteA soft reset (turning the device off then back on):

  • Is similar to restarting a desktop computer and is one of the first steps in troubleshooting a device.
  • Won't affect data on the device.

 

  1. Press and hold the Power button (located on the back) until the Phone options screen appears then release.
    NoteIf the device is unresponsive, press and hold the Power button until the device powers off (approximately 10 seconds) then release.
