I just used my 4G LTE Ellipsis Jetpack for streaming Amazon Prime for 4 hours and got a message that I've USED UP 90% of my 15GB of DATA!!! For TWO MOVIES??!! The same thing happened a little over a year ago and I returned that Jetpack! I was hoping this one would be better!! I live in an RV park in a semi rural area and all I want the jet pack for is internet for my computers and for streaming Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime, not heavy duty gaming!! Help!
Equipment doesn't change the amount of data you're using. Streaming movies at a high quality uses a lot of data, it's always been that way. Jetpacks aren't meant to be used the same way as home internet.
As Tigerstp mentioned, please understand that Verizon Jetpack devices are not intended to be home broadband replacements. They are desgined for people on the go that may need an internet connection. It is difficult when you live in an RV park that doesn't have an option for high speed internet.
With the Jetpack, you will get 15 GB of high speed data, and after that is used for the billing period, data will slow down.
