My internet antivirus shows the best channels for broadcasting a wireless network. It says that my Jetpack is currently on Channel 6. However, on my program, there are 6 channels with better signal quality. How do I change the channel?

1. Access the Admin Web Interface.
2. From the left menu, click Jetpack Settings.
3. Click Wi-Fi.
4. Adjust the broadcast channel as desired then click Save Changes (at the lower-right).
Automatic (default setting) is recommended.
Select an alternate channel (e.g., 1-11).

Channel six suggests your Jetpack is broadcasting over 2.4 GHz. On the 2.4 GHz spectrum there are only 3 non overlapping wireless channels to choose from 1, 6 and 11. It is extremely unlikely that you have 6 channels to choose from with better signal quality due to the channel width restrictions built into 2.4 GHz.
Instead I would highly recommend disregarding whatever your AV is suggesting to you about the best wireless channel. Just because a channel is open does not mean its going to perform better for you and your neighbors. Wireless channel selection is not the job of an AV application or service.
