Thunderbolt has no data, radio for data

Use to say no data plus an "X" over the signel bars.

For phone it says "lost call"  For text is says "Will send when service is back" and for email: "need network to connect.

Now I have found (2) different radios on my phone. Baseband Version: 1.16.00.0402w_1 and Radio: 1.48.00.0906w_1 

Are these not the same thing? If it shows I have a baseband and/or radio, why then does the TB unit not find it? I have tried:

 

  1. Open Dial Pad - Dial: ##778 Send
  2. Select: EPST Edit mode, Password: 000000
  3. Select: Modem Settings
  4. Select and modify Rev. A to ENABLED
  5. Touch "Menu" and select "Commit Modifications"
  6. The device will reset in 10 seconds.

Stil no radio, how can I get my network back up and running? The "mobile network" is checked and I have pulled my battery to try and reset as well.

Have you gone into settings to confirm that the phone is not in Airplane Mode

Thank you for your response, I really appreciate this.

The problem is I am not able to set my apn. I went to settings, wireless networks, mobile network, access point names and I find that the APN can not detect the sims card. It says I have zero tries to add password. I looked on another phone and the apn was: vzwinternet  There are no values listed under the apn, name and mms and so forth.

I understand it must be frustrating to experience data difficulties.

I would like to ask a few probing questions to be able to better assist you.

  • Are you still having difficulties?
  • Are you using a specific radio app?
  • Is your data connection functioning properly for other apps and your browser?
  • Have you attempted to clear your cache and run the device in safe mode?
