Question 1: Why does my HTC Rezound only show 9 text messages total? How do I get to all the text messages that have transpired? My DROID kept them indefinitely in limitless numbers. Now I cannot even access any messages from even 2 days ago.
Question 2: How do you erase *read* email messages without having to go through and *check mark* each message for deletion?

For question 1: Do you have Old messages being deleted? You can check this by going to your list of texts, clicking the menu button, then going Settings > General > Delete old messages. Make sure this box is unchecked.
For question 2: If you are using the HTC Mail app, I don't think there's a way to do this. There are a lot of restrictions for the Mail app, and I'm not a fan of it. I just use gmail for my stuff, and any other accounts, you can search the Play store for a nice email app that will let you do this. Scope out google and see what people say.
I like Enhanced Email a lot. It is free in the Play Store.
