My phone in the last 15 mins decided that I must now have a password to unlock it. I don't have a password... ergo, I now can't use my phone. Anyone know how to fix this?

It should give you the option of entering your google password. There is an app you can pay for from the play store that unlocks it for you as well, if you have assess to the internet. You may also do a reset of your device.

Stuart, that's strange that your phone decided on its own to lock you out. Let's show that phone who's the boss! Have you recently setup a work email account via an Exchange Server? Normally Exchange Servers do require a password. As lemew stated, if you don't remember setting up a password, the phone will eventually ask for your Gmail username and password after a few tries.
Let me know if you need further assistance.
