Are you talking about the alerts from Verizon?  You can change those on your on-line MyVerizon account (if you are the Account Owner).

I have our usage alert set to 90%. Before then it was much lower and those alerts were a nuisance.

If you are talking about the notification your phone gives you you can change that under settings. I have unlimited and I got the warning , if its because our have a limited amount of data then you will need to change it on myverizon website.

Hello toolmandave13,

Thank you for your inquiry today. I understand that often times it is rather annoying to receive multiple alerts for your data usage. We attempt to make sure you are heavily notified of your usage in case there is a chance of overage. We like to make sure that all overage is eliminated before it occurs. The good news is, we have options that will allow you to customize your alert settings by visiting My VZW. Below, I have listed the necessary steps.

Signin to MY VZW Account Holder.
Select View Usage.
Select desired line.
Scroll down to data.
Select manage data alerts.
Customize to desired settings.

To learn more about the types of alerts we offer, please visit http://vz.to/Im8cDv. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to let us know, thanks!

I got the same messages last month and I ignored them.  Today I got my bill for last month and I was charged an additional $10 for data overages - I have had the unlimited plan forever.  Wait, unlimited isn't unlimited any more...  it is actually 2 GB.  From my accounting, my data usage was 2.3 GB for the month and they charged me $10.  Honestly, I don't know how it got so high but that is scary.

Unlimited data is still unlimited.  However, if you upgraded your phone after 6/27/2012, you might have switched to a tiered data plan of 2GB for $30.  Otherwise, you would have switched to Share Everything.  To keep unlimited data, you would have paid full retail price for your new phone.  If you did not upgrade your phone after 6/27/2012, you should still have unlimited data unless someone else on your account used your upgrade.
