Man! I just ordered mine yesterday. lol Buying the full coverage insurance may help ease my mind I guess. If mine cracks, I will repost. Glad I found this thread!

It was after I had already gone through the programming and started using the phone that I noticed the scratch. It wasn't visible when using the camera, so I didn't think much of it. I wish I had noticed it before I programmed the phone, but that's not how it worked out.

I just got the new Razr about three weeks ago and on the 4th day my screen cracked from the right side going up to the left. I had a Droid Global and dropped that thing more than a phone should be dropped and never one little scratch or crack. And just about a half hour ago I had my Razr on the charger and was looking at some pictures I had taken today and all of a sudden the screen went black and the usually green flashing light in the corner went white and now my phone won't turn on. It seems like I got the black screen of death that you get with pc's. I have tried doing a soft restart and nothing will happen. WTF???

Why arent you contacting motorola? They make the phone not verizon.. verizon just resells it. You will get more far.. I have a razor and fortunately it has not cracked.. altough I know a guy who sat on it and CRACK there went the screen. LOL

JJ : I have had my Maxx since February and i Dropped onto the Dirt ground not concrete the other day but it was still hard i didn't mess with top of my Maxx because i did not want to move the dirt around that got into the stereo Jack Port but when i got home i cleaned it thoroughly an it's working as it did before the accidental drop. there is no known issue for any device where the screen suddenly cracks. so it didnt matter what phone you had

well if my screen cracks I guess it's not the end of the world. bought a squaretrade warranty...only downfall i guess is the deductible on something thats not my fault, which motorola should shell out for with a replacement. Someone should put their phone on max vibrate, and have someone call all the time...all while video taping the screen, just to capture something cracking, if it does, as proof of a flaw.

Actually I purchased a regular razr...and it was an upgrade at the Verizon online store. I've read tons of comparison reviews about how Verizon's warranty stinks anyway...so I just went to SquareTrade.
