Overall Issues with Android OS...

My phone hasn't acted right since the 4.1.2 update.  Before then, I LOVED my phone, but now it's just junk.  I've done a factory reset, disabled apps, restarted multiple times and nothing fixes it.  It lags on everything that I do e.g. texting, camera, browsing, phone calls, etc.  I know that Verizon doesn't control the OS and could really careless about what phone I use as long as I stay with Verizon; but when my upgrade comes due next year, I'm switching to an IPhone.

Below is a link to other people experiencing the same issue.

Apparently I'm not getting the response that I wanted from people.  I know I'm not the only one that's sick and tired of this!  Is there a fix for these problems? Or am I going to have to switch phones and possibly carriers?

This is a peer to peer community forum where customers can assist other customers with their questions. Not everyone who reads this community forum responds to the posts. Nor does every single customer with the same phone as you comes to the community. It might take a day or two before a user could see your post and respond to it.

Here I will answer your question. Call *611 from your cell phone or 800-922-0204 from a land line and speak to tech support.

If the phone cannot be stabilized they can make arrangements to get you another refurbished razr.

There is another release coming from Google that will more than likely fix some of the bugs in the last OS update. You either wait and hoped it fixes your issues or just call verizon for tech support.

Do you think If the people at the Android Forums cannot fix all the issues your posting here will have better results? I sincerely doubt it.

Just to give you another bit of news the issues are not with Motorola or Verizon. But every single cell company and different makes of androids old and new. Its a Google OS issue. Post your question to Google.

It is not something anyone but VZW should answer...it has only been here for less than 1 day.  Be patient until another customer that happens to come past your thread and could give you the answer.  It sounds as though some people are having issues with JB update.  You may need to check other forums like http://www.androidcentral.com/ You might find something over there.  If you leave a post over there you might want to change your demeanor somewhat or you may find yourself with no answer over there either.  To maybe get something going more quickly try calling VZW tech or take your phone into a corporate store and ask nicely for help with your phone.  Best of luck getting your phone back to working.  I don't really know how it feels to have a none working phone, I have been one of the lucky customers that have not received and update/upgrade in software and it mess my phone up.

Thank you for your answer.  And I have posted my problem with Google with no response whatsoever.  I'm completely aware that Verizon has no control over an OS BUT they can pressure manufacturers and OS providers to make sure their customers are satisfied. I've searched and posted questions with Google and Motorola for the past 2 months and I'm seriously frustrated and unfortunately this forum is getting the short end of the stick.
