Notification Sound Adjustment

I have switched from by BIONIC.  I was able to simply use the volume buttons to silence all ringer and notifications. It was great.

Now, on my MAXX I have to go into sound and lower notifications.  The ringer does turn down with the volume buttons.  I know I can make a shortcut to sound on my home page.

Am I missing something?

Thanks!!!

My volume button lowers the notification sound   How about an app for your volume control.  I use sound manager I love that I can schedule my volume change when I need it to.

Hey there carvana!

That does seem very tedious and we want you to easily control your volume without having to download an application. I did check the functionality of the Razr Maxx and if you are on the home screen, simply press the volume all the way down to put it on vibrate (icon looks like a small phone with waves on the side). Then you must hit it AGAIN to go from vibrate down to silent (speaker with a line through it). If your phone is not doing this, I would check for any system updates (Settings, About Phone, System Updates). You should be able to do what you are wanting with your device! Keep us updated!

Thanks!
