Yes, it will be before 2013 and I believe it:

UPDATE 22 October: Motorola has now revealed the names of those handsets that can expect an update to Jelly Bean before 2013. They include the Motorola Droid Razr M, the Droid Razr HD, the Droid Razr Maxx HD, Droid Razr (Motorola Razr here in the UK) and the Motorola Droid Razr Maxx (Razr Maxx).

The 4.1 update should hit before the end of year, kinda hard to push update after update, we got ICS back in june i think, so JB wouldnt make sense to hit the phones that fast. A bit upset that new RazR HD and MAxx HD got it first. I actually emailed Moto with a complaint on why the wait tonight. I assume JB will come with a battery life fix, since ICS battery life has not been as good when in comparison to GB.

It is not Motorola, it is all Verizon. Verizon Is so big they don't care about us. After spending 300 in April for the Razr Maxx and Verizon updates a phone they released 6 weeks ago. What a slap in the face. I am also tech savvy and there is no reason that we have not had the JB update other then their complete and total greed. They want to push people into the HD and that sucks.

  Yes, and no. Mine is working great, and I have no complaints. If I get it, fine. If not, then I would not be ticked off like others in the community. I do know that Motorola lists it as getting JB in 2013, so I am confident that it will, I am just not holding my breath and bugging people about "When"....
