How do I close tabs

I often get a message when browsing certain web pages that says I need to close some tabs and then there is what appears to be a lego block on the screen and that is it. how do I close tabs, any help is appreciated.

On mine i Just hit the Menu Button and then hit the Home Page: it Closes then i start from Scratch..

Are you using the stock browser or a 3rd party browser...    Basically they are all simular...  Look at the top right corner there is usally a button to display open windows, once you have this list open you will see a "X" on the corner of each window and if you press this button it will close that window and you can do this with eachone you want to close.

On my HTC Rezound I went to the menu, then tapped windows from the pop-up list. All of the tabs showed up and I was able to close them one by one. This required much trials on my part. I hope it works.
