Can I store apps on my SD card?

I have a Droid Razr M on Verizon and when you go under the apps there is no longer the option to send an app to the SD card. This greatly limits the phone's capabilities. Is there a fix for this or is there going to be one in the future? It makes the SD card completely irrelevant if we can't actually put anything on it other than a few media files or documents.

Google removed the option from the stock Android OS since Android 4.0. The manufacturer has to choose to write the code back into the OS on the phone. Only one manufacturer has chosen to do so on some of their phones. It wasn't Motorola.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

So this is a question that I would have to take up with Motorola then. Got it. Thanks.

There are apps in the Play Store that will move certain apps to the SD card for you. Just be advised that not all apps can be run from the SD card.

Even the app that is written to be installed on the SD card, won't do so on a device running Android 4.0 and higher. The file system structure was completely changed by Google's Android team in Android 4.0.

I complained to Motorola about it. Not sure if they'll do anything about it, but couldn't hurt.

I had tried that already, and like Ann said, the option just isn't there.
