I want to say thanks for all cool info on this site. I live my Verizon Wireless services and just want to say that we already lost our NE2 credits probably bc they were abused and he etf's are through he roof now. If we all don't come together on being responsible about our data consumption and you know who you are! We will all be in big trouble because for this who like to tether w/o you know what, and hooking your droids up to your gaming systems which why would you do that? Anyways we are going to start getting out speeds lowered and then yet another thing vzw will take away. Its already started so I hope you stay under 5g's or you will be very upset. I did not write this.to offend anyone because my intentions are good and I am just wanting to not have to stress about being capped bc of the curtain greed that will continue to give vzw reasons to treat us like grade school kids. Lets show the competition that Verizon can keep the unlimited plans affordable and once we take out art and he ohers we will be given all the things back that we lost.

DrDroidDre,
Next time rather than making a new post, just edit your original post. In the upper right of your post see the "Options" link? When you click on this the first option is "Edit" This is active for about 60 minutes after your post or until someone posts after you.... whichever comes first.

The data cap is just not that big of a deal, unless you want to stream lots and lots of movies. Remember, usage statistics show that only a handful of users, 3 to 5%, use that kind of data. Is

Darn, did it again...
If someone wants to use that kind of data, they should use the home high-speed internet connection instead of a phone.
Still, I have no worries that this data cap will affect me at all.

Having problems there with posting, Gerio?
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

FWIW, Verizon already has plans of retribution for those "extra heavy" data users, at some point in the near future they are going to start throttling data speeds at certain times for the top 5%. Not sure how this is going to affect the new LTE plans, what with the faster speeds (which I would imagine teammates to higher usage) and the Thunderbolt possibly coming with free wifi tether, but the rumor is that it's in the works.

Yeah, Ann. I should know better than to post at 1am after an 18-hour rodeo show day. And on the Droid, no less.
But of course, I don't..
