Navigator spoken directions to Bluetooth

I have a Droid X, and the latest upgrade to Verizon Navigator does not work properly as regards to directing to spoken instructions to my Bluetooth headset.  The initial instruction is played through my Bluetooth headset.  All other directions are played through the phones speaker.  It's not the Bluetooth device, as I've tried many, including the on the worked immediately prior to the last Navigator update.

Preferences does not allow me to direct the audio in any way.  It allows me only to change the voice, change the volume and determine if Street Names are used.

Any suggestions on how to get all spoken directions heard through my Bluetooth???

Thanx!!!!!

Are you using Google's navigator or Verizon's navigator?  Have you tried using a different navigation app to see if it works through your bluetooth?

This may be a strange question because so many bluetooths have this standard but does the headset you are using supposrt A2DP stereo transmission because this is required t o stream audio? I am using Google Maps on my Jabra Cruiser In-Car Bluetooth and my Kenwood stereo without issues, I also set it up on my laptop bluetooth and it also streams the directions through the speakers.

I too use the Google Navigator with Motorokr S9-HD bluetooth headphones. All navigation instructions work fine through the headphones.

I haven't tried the Verizon Navigator, but will do so and report findings.

I used to use Verizon Navigator exclusively until the latest upgrade.  My problems started with the latest upgrade.  Google Navigator works just fine.

If you haven't already used Verizon's navigator, I wouldn't.  Unless something recently changed, you will need to pay to use that app.  I wouldn't think it would be worth it just to test.  Anyone know of another free alternative to Google's Navigator app?

I havent really seen any free GPS Navigation app that can even come close to Google Navigation, may I ask, is there a reason you do not want to use Google Navigation?

I don't think that he doesn't want to use it, I had asked if he had used any other navigation app to see if another would give him the same bluetooth problem.  That is why is he was talking about using the Verizon Navigator app.

If that was directed at me, I was only asking about other apps out of curiousity.  Google's Navigation has been fantastic for my needs (which are minimal).
